A Country Wedding at a Private Residence in Fredonia, Kansas

Amy McVey (21 and a crop insurance agent) and Zach Traylor (21) wanted to get married in the fall. But after Zach proposed at the end of the summer, they only had four months to plan for their October wedding date. With the help of all their friends and family, they pulled it off flawlessly. Country was the name of the game for the Kansas-based couple, and they made sure everything matched. Hay bales, mason jars and burlap were paired with whitewashed doors, wooden stumps and cowboy boots throughout the decor. Amy and Zach even made a mason jar terrarium chandelier for the reception in Fredonia, Kansas. Plenty of greenery was draped around the black spindle before candles held in mason jars were suspended from the center. How cool is that? Needing a location that was equally as country, Amy and Zach exchanged vows on Amy's parents' farm. Check out the views of the Midwestern countryside! Although brown, navy and ivory were the base colors, Amy and Zach spiced up the soiree with shades of red, orange, yellow, purple and green.
