A Country Wedding at Aurum Food and Wine in Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Warm shades of red, orange and yellow colored all the details in Rebecca King (29 and a manager) and Ross Jacobs's (36 and a consultant) wedding. Since Rebecca loves gold, she knew she wanted to incorporate the metallic hue into the decor. It was only appropriate that they chose Aurum Food and Wine in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, for their reception since "aurum" means gold in Latin. The naturally beautiful venue was perfect, with its indoor and outdoor options and its customizable space. Since Rebecca loves a good DIY project, she made everything: 80 gold-dipped vases for the centerpieces, metallic bunting over the cake table, calligraphed escort cards and signs. The day started with a Catholic ceremony at Holy Name Catholic Church. When Rebecca and Ross booked the chapel, it was still being built, but they loved how it turned out with its rustic mountain aura. As soon as the couple confirmed they were getting married on a mountain, Rebecca decided to wear cowboy boots for a little country flair. Before the reception, she changed out of her Jenny Yoo gown and into a short J.Crew dress, so she could kick it in her boots well into the night.
