A DIY Casual Wedding at Madison Creek Farms in Goodlettsville, Tennessee
Madison Creek Farms in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, was a quaint, picturesque landscape for Amanda Conard’s (32 and a health care IT administrator) and Eric Conard’s (36 and a shipping clerk) laid-back wedding. “We both really like outdoor, rustic-inspired weddings,” Amanda says, perfectly describing her style. She and Eric went with a coral and teal palette and were very DIY with the details: They made nearly all the decorations themselves to make sure everything had a special touch. Eric even built the wedding arch and made all the boutonnieres, while Amanda picked up her flowers the morning of the wedding. Colorful summer wildflowers were in full bloom as they exchanged the vows they wrote for each other, followed by a reception on the pavilion. Guests enjoyed lawn games, including corn hole, as well as craft beers, dancing and a bonfire later in the evening. A highlight? Amanda was blown away by the professionalism and quality of CJs Catering, which provided a delicious meal for their 125 guests. “My guests still talk about how amazing our food was. We were very lucky to find chef Jeff and his staff.” Jay Farrell Photography was on hand to capture the sweet details of the day, below.
