A DIY Fall Wedding at Calvary Episcopal Church in Golden, Colorado

Everything—from the pumpkin accents and apple centerpieces to the red bridesmaid dresses—felt like fall for Lizzie Wehling (28 and a physical therapist) and Zach Wehling's (33 and a data analyst) wedding. The day started at Bear Creek Lake Park in an outdoor ceremony, which was close enough to the mountains to feel like Colorado, but was also convenient for their 180 guests. Zach tied copper wire around 25 glass vases, filled them with fresh flower blooms and suspended them over the altar for a little touch of natural romance to the already stunning space. As if that weren't impressive enough, the groom also folded 1,000 paper cranes to hang from the gothic chandelier at the reception at Calvary Episcopal Church in Golden, Colorado. It's something you definitely have to see to believe, and we're so glad J. La Plante Photo captured all the details. Check out all the amazing homemade, local decor below.
