A DIY Spring Wedding at the Stockroom at 230 in Raleigh, North Carolina

Lauren Huffman  and Adam Lefler brought their downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, loft wedding to life with a jewel-tone palette, gold and acrylic accents and beautiful blooms. Tapping into her creativity, Lauren created DIY decor—like acrylic signs and large hanging floral chandeliers made with silk peonies. The couple's florist brought their beautiful spring wedding to life with beautiful blooms like anemones, garden roses and ranunculus. “When we began thinking about our wedding day, we knew that the most important part to us was the ceremony, which is why we booked our amazing officiant 16 months in advance," Lauren says. "We wanted the reception to be an awesome party with family and friends, and we made every decision with the goal of making the day relaxing and fun for ourselves and our guests.” Before their ceremony, Lauren and Adam had an emotional first look on the deck of the Stockroom at 230 in Raleigh, North Carolina. “It was amazing to be able to see each other, take a breath before the ceremony and focus on the reason for the day: the two of us,” the bride says. Friends and family members celebrated with dancing and a delicious taco bar. —Marissa Hermanson
