A Fall Farm Wedding at Southall Eden in Leiper's Fork, Tennessee

College sweethearts who fell in love at Vanderbilt University, Anna Katherine Wright (24 and a recruiting coordinator) and Michael Ross (27 and a law school student) tied the knot five years and one day after their first date. For their nuptials, the duo celebrated with an autumn wedding at Southall Eden, a farm 30 minutes outside Nashville in rural Leiper's Fork, Tennessee. “I love the outdoors and the rustic theme, but I also have a flair for the fancy and didn’t want my big day to be anything different,” Anna Katherine says. “We loved the barn and the rustic air but felt it was something we could still pull off as fancy and elegant.” Their laid-back farm wedding was decorated with a color scheme of olive green (the bride’s favorite color) and glitzy gold accents to add some glam. Food and beverages took front and center during the cocktail hour and reception. “Our menu was to die for,” Anna Katherine says. “Food was very important to us and something we wanted to make sure we did right.” During cocktail hour, guests sipped amaretto bourbon sours, which the bride and groom love. For dinner, friends and family noshed on lobster mac and cheese and filet mignon (two of their favorite dishes). The party ended with late-night snacks and an epic sparkler send-off. —Marissa Hermanson
