A Fall Mansion Wedding at The Wickliffe House in Charleston, South Carolina

Lauren Rodriguez (23 and a salon coordinator) and Brandon Belk (28 and a food and beverage coordinator) held their intimate fall wedding at St. Luke's Chapel, only blocks away from their reception venue, The Wickliffe House, a historic home in Charleston, South Carolina. "We really liked the idea of people being able to walk from our ceremony to our reception, and the walk from St. Luke's to The Wickliffe House was the perfect distance to get a small taste of a stroll through a Charleston neighborhood," Lauren says. She walked down the aisle at St. Luke's in a Caroline DeVillo gown with a lace bodice and a V neckline from Gown Boutique of Charleston. The bride's favorite part -- and ours -- was the deep V in the back of the dress. "When my mom picked it out from the rack, I fell in love with it as soon as I laid eyes on it," Lauren says. Events did a phenomenal job of blending purple into the cream and gold color scheme of the wedding. She brought deep plum hydrangeas and peonies into the arrangements and wedding cake decorations to match the Jenny Yoo plum bridesmaid dresses from the same bridal boutique. "They were so easy and fun to work with and really knew what they were doing," Lauren says. A piece of advice from the bride: "We made it a point to try to talk to everyone who was at our wedding and sincerely thank them for being a part of our day," Lauren says.
