Erin and Alex met in high school (they had both had secret crushes on each other at different times) but only decided to start dating when they went to college. After a couple of years of long-distance dating, the pair moved back to Portland, Oregon and were together for six years before taking a trip to Amsterdam, where Alex proposed! The pair exchanged vows at The Madeleine Church in Portland and had the reception at the Sentinel Hotel, where they had cocktails in the Renaissance Room and moved upstairs to the Governor Ballroom for dinner and dancing. "We chose a soft pink, white, dark gray and gold color palette for the wedding. They were just colors we gravitated toward for the time of year," Erin says. "We loved our flowers -- they were seasonal and gorgeous. We hope what best reflects us as a couple was that everyone had a great time. We love our family and friends and wanted to make this a celebration for everyone to enjoy."

"We focused on a consistent logo for our wedding day to use on our save the dates, invites and cake! We designed it to reflect the combination of our first initials to look like an infinity symbol and surrounded by a circle with tilted lines representing the earths tilt on summer solstice - our wedding day!" says Erin.
Bridesmaids wore long, floor-length blush dresses in V-neck styles for a flowing, romantic look throughout the ceremony and reception.
The pink and white bridesmaid bouquets (filled with roses and hydrangeas) had a double purpose -- hand-held ceremony bouquets and head table centerpieces at the reception.
Erin wore these copper colored metallic bridal heels down the aisle on her wedding day.
Erin wore her hair in a romantic, classic low chignon with a natural, but enhancing beauty look to compliment her bridal style.

Pink and Charcoal Wedding Party
Throughout the day, the wedding party was shuttled back and forth between events on a vintage-inspired trolley.
Flower girls wore classic sleeveless white dresses with tulle skirts and accessorized with ivory floral crowns. Each girl carried a basket of loose petals, befitting their roles.
Governor's Ballroom Reception Space
The altar decorations and bridesmaid bouquets were repurposed at the reception as head table decor. The tall arrangements of hydrangeas and roses fit in perfectly with the pink and white color scheme.

The couple's three-tiered wedding cake was classic white, topped with pink and white roses that matched the color palette of the rest of the wedding decor.
Erin and Alex shared their first dance as a married couple as family and friends watched on from their reception table seats.
