A Fun, Glitzy Wedding at the Curtis Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Jenna Yacyk (29, occupational therapist) and Bob DeLuca (27, CPA) met in Ocean City, New Jersey through mutual friends. Bob’s friends were excited to meet Jenna and her friends, who were cheerleaders for the Philadelphia Eagles at the time. Jenna and Bob hit it off and went on their first date to the Chelsea rooftop lounge in Atlantic City. The rest was history. For their wedding, Jenna and Bob wanted a city chic vibe to go with their Philadelphia venues. They had their ceremony at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter and Paul. Their reception was held at the Curtis Center, a lavish venue with high ceilings and crystal chandeliers. Their wedding colors were black, white and pink, so Bob and the groomsmen wore black tuxedos with calla lily boutonnieres and the bridesmaids wore floor length, halter dresses in hot pink. Jenna wore a custom designed, mermaid style Pnina Tornai wedding dress with bows on the shoulder, the hip and throughout the train. She was featured on the TLC show, “Say Yes to the Dress,” when she bought her wedding gown. She carried a jeweled bouquet of blush flowers with silver brooches and she wore hot pink and gold shoes. As a surprise for her guests, Jenna and her bridesmaids coordinated a cheer routine and dance with Swoop, the mascot of the Philadelphia Eagles. Jenna and Bob’s glamorous Philadelphia wedding was a blast for their guests and a gorgeous event.
