A Fun Traditional Wedding at Winter Park Farmers’ Market in Winter Park, Florida

Over 18 months, Ashleigh Korzack (31 and in sports marketing and management) and Wil Torres (31 and a consumer goods broker) planned a traditional wedding accented in pink, cream and metallics. The couple had a church ceremony lined with white hydrangea and pink roses for a romantic touch as two lush arrangements of the same flowers were set behind the altar. After Ash and Wil exchanged vows, their 100 guests went to the Winter Park Historical Museum for a cocktail hour filled with fun facts about the area and an exhibit on the local high school. The couple's Winter Park Farmers’ Market reception was easily chosen and right next door. “Before our most recent move, we had lived down the block for a year. Wil and I would go get fresh-squeezed lemonade on Saturday mornings or freshly-popped kettle corn,” says Ash. String lighting covered the ceiling as rows of round reception tables surrounded the dance floor. Each was met with white linens, black chiavari chairs, gold chargers and low centerpieces filled with white hydrangeas and pink roses. For a rustic touch, wooden barrels were placed under the drink station. The head family-style table was also left uncovered and barn doors lined the wall. Guests spent the night dancing and enjoying the couple's photo booth before retreating back to their hotels in golf carts – all while the newlyweds stayed up for an impromptu after party!
