When they met as roommates in Washington, DC, it was “like a real-life sitcom,” says the bride. “We hit it off as friends for a long time before dating, but eventually realized we were crazy about each other and have been together ever since.” They were married in a traditional Hindu ceremony in front of the red cliffs at Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club, in the bride’s hometown of St. George. Although the couple met and live in DC, they wanted a destination wedding for guests. The couple’s favorite part of the reception was a sparkler entrance and first dance. “The DJ announced us for the first time as a married couple and we rushed down a staircase into the patio full of cheering guests, all holding sparklers,” the bride says. “Surrounded by friends, family, and fireworks, we danced for the first time as man and wife. It was magical.”—Chrissy Sorenson
