A Garden Arboretum Destination Wedding at Springs Preserve in Las Vegas

Guinevere (Guin) Hayes (34, real estate professional) and Eric Guthrie (sales manager) met on the softball field; he was playing third baseman and she was showcasing her lefty talent at first. They were friends and respected each other's athletic prowess on the diamond, until one day it became much, much more. Eric proposed on a romantic Montana ski trip in the middle of a remote, torch-lit dinner. Neither Guin or Eric wanted to get married in their home states, so they decided to turn their wedding in to a party in Vegas. "Why not?" says the bride. "We wanted to have a killer party with easy flights and good hotel options." The couple had a sunset garden arboretum wedding at Springs Preserve, and were married under a beautiful archway draped in burlap and greenery. Their theme was vintage garden party with old Vegas flare with a color palette of white and green with organic natural textures and coral for a pop of color. Guin wore a classic smooth white vintage gown with a deep v-neck and coral flowers in her hair, and Eric wore a casual gray suit with a coral shirt to match. The wedding moved indoors for the reception, where guests enjoyed dinner and a cupcake dessert and continued to dance the night away in traditional Las Vegas fashion.
