A Bohemian Garden Wedding at CJ's Off the Square in Franklin, Tennessee

Jenna and Chris met in 2011 through common friends. He showed off his dance moves, Napoleon Dynamite style, and they quickly became friends before a romance blossomed a year later. Chris got a job in Nashville, Tennessee, another year later, and on a memorable date night at a local restaurant, he dropped down to one knee and proposed. The two were married a year after that, on Independence Day, in a garland-covered gazebo in nearby Franklin, Tennessee. Pink, white, and peach florals covered the outdoor space where the ceremony and reception were held. The “secret garden” vibe was accented by string lights and rose petals dusting the aisle. Jenna wore a jewel-encrusted gown with a sweetheart neckline and empire waist. She paired it with a jeweled headband and long, layered necklaces for a bohemian look. Chris looked dapper in a black Dolce & Gabbana suit with a white French cuff shirt and cuff links she gave him for the day. His groomsmen dressed similarly, and the bridesmaids wore light pink strapless dresses. The bouquets featured proteas, while the boutonnieres used green floral elements. Festivities moved into a large covered pavilion adjacent to the garden for the reception. Table settings included the same florals in the bridal bouquet as centerpieces along with mercury-glass containers, cream raw silk linens and antique chargers. “We wanted to carry the South into our menu, so we had fried green tomatoes, mini twice-baked potatoes, mini sliders, and teriyaki "firecrackers" wrapped in cucumber to tie in the Fourth of July,” Jenna says of the menu. Guests also dined on a three-layer deconstructed cake with layers of lemon, red velvet and chocolate. The couple danced their first song to "Northern Wind" by City and Colour, a song close to their hearts, before the celebratory fireworks. —Caroline Eubanks
