A Glam Winter Wedding at Southwind Hills in Goldsby, Oklahoma

Southwind Hills in Goldsby, Oklahoma, is a venue every couple in the Sooner State should know about: a gorgeous, rustic wooden barn venue with vintage decor paired with classic elements (think dripping crystal chandeliers and draping) that dress up the space for an elegant fete. As soon as Laura Bowles (29 and a hotel management professional) and Levi Schuette (27 and in the oil and gas industry) saw the space, they knew it was where they wanted to get married. They went for a garden glam theme with lots of ivory, blush and gold details and eclectic floral arrangements by in-house florist Amber McGee. Their sweetheart table pulled the decor together with pink and white roses, and as a special surprise, the venue owners added Laura and Levi’s custom monogram with rose wreaths to the back of their chairs. For another personal touch, DJ Devin from M&M Productions took the time to get to know Laura and Levi’s music preferences to keep their reception entertaining and meaningful. The best part? It snowed on their wedding day! Hibben Photography captured all the beautiful moments, below, from inside the barn to out in the romantic, snowy landscape.

Southwind Hills Wedding Venue
The ceremony space at Southwind Hills in Goldsby, Oklahoma, has a gorgeous, rustic vibe with elegant chandeliers and draping that amp up the romance. Laura and Levi barely had to decorate since it was so naturally pretty.
Laura wore neutral peep-toe embellished heels that matched her glam bridal style.
Laura opted to forgo bridesmaids, but her closest friends wore dresses in blue (for her home state of Kentucky and her something blue).
Laura wore a stunning Alfred Angelo mermaid-style dress, and added a vintage fur bolero to stay warm at her winter wedding. (She also loved her glam hair and makeup look stylist Kellie Powell created.)
Laura wanted to bring a glam garden feel to the Southwind Hills barn, so she recruited Amber McGee, the in-house florist, to style the look. She used a mixture of white and blush roses, hydrangeas and dusty miller in mercury glasses around rustic wooden barrels to frame the stage where Laura and Levi said “I do.”
No two dining tables looked alike: Each was draped with seeded eucalyptus or sequined table runners with flowers, mixed metals, glassware and candles. String lights overhead added a romantic aura to the space.
Laura and Levi’s cake from Madison’s on Main embodied the garden glam theme. It had a metallic gold tier in the center of blush and ivory tiers accented by garden roses, and a whimsical skull cake topper in black.
Laura and Levi dressed up their dog, Piston, in a pink bow tie. He loved the snow! A special moment: When Laura and Levi had their first look, Piston wrapped his leash around them.
