A Glamorous Cambodian Wedding at Plaza Volare in Quebec, Canada
Anne-Maly Pen (27, a Chartered Accountant) and Elias Malouf (a Dentist) wanted a wedding that fused Anne-Maly's Cambodian heritage with a classic, Old Hollywood feel. After a traditional Cambodian ceremony at Anne-Maly's parents house, everyone walked over to Plaza Volare for another ceremony and then to the Crown Plaza Hotel for the reception. The couple loves Italian food so the cocktail hour and dinner had a great spread of classic Italian dishes: arugula salad, egg pappardelle with tomato all leading up to the delicious main course of veal ossobuco alla milanese. After dinner, everyone enjoyed a traditional red dragon dance while eating cake with gelato nocciola.
