A Glamorous Gold Wedding at the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, Missouri

With black-and-white marble walls and gold crystal chandeliers, Lori Kelly (41 and a key director at Touchstone Crystal By Swarovski) and Tom Kelly (42 and a director of business development) used their luxe venue to inspire the entire wedding. They easily chose the same place Tom proposed, the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, Missouri, for their nuptials because they loved that they could return anytime they wanted to share a meal, have drinks or even catch a movie. We love how they incorporated sparkly gold details throughout the decor in everything from the elegant glittery stationery to the sequined table linens to the glam chiavari chairs. Gold mercury glass even topped the reception tables and were filled with lush white florals gorgeously arranged by Angie Lopez from Elegance In Bloom. Cocktail hour took place outside, surrounded by swoon-worthy views of St. Louis, complete with live jazz and the red sangria signature cocktail lovingly dubbed Happily Ever After. Wishing the party would never end, guests went home with mini Korbel champagne bottles adorned with glittery "cheers" tags and a thank-you note. Lori’s absolute favorite part of the wedding was the simply stunning three-tier white buttercream wedding cake by the Cakery Bakery. The blush roses and seeded eucalyptus topper added the perfect amount of romance to the equally delicious dessert. I didn't worry about a single detail the day of our wedding because I trusted all my vendors. I was relaxed and as happy as I've ever been. I wouldn't have changed a single detail.”

Lori carried an all-white bouquet that included roses, garden roses and hydrangeas. She loved how the bouquet complemented her simple, chic wedding. The neutral color bouquet was the perfect touch for her glamorous Vera Wang wedding dress.
The wedding party was kept very simple and included only Lori’s two children. Her daughter was the maid of honor and wore an elegant black gown by Zac Posen. Her son was the best man and wore a Vera Wang tuxedo.

Cocktail hour took place outside during sunset with gorgeous views of St. Louis. The cocktail tables were topped with gorgeous gold mercury-glass vases filled with white roses and seeded eucalyptus or candles for extra romance. The signature cocktail was Happily Ever After red sangria.
“We married at the Chase Park Plaza,” Lori says. “We thought this was a perfect choice since this is where we got engaged. We love that we can return anytime to the place we married to share a meal, have drinks, catch a movie or sneak away for the night.”
The reception tables were topped with ivory-striped linens and gold sequined table runners for a little glamorous flair. The look was completed with gold mercury glass filled with textured hydrangea, rose and leaf centerpieces that helped bring the outside in.
The reception tables were decorated with gold mercury-glass vases filled with white hydrangeas, cream roses, lamb’s ear, seeded eucalyptus and leaves. We love how the gold centerpieces were paired with the sequined table runner and overall glamorous feel of the reception.
Lori and Tom wrote each of their guests little thank-you notes, which were at each place setting. They sent all their of-age attendees home with mini Korbel champagne bottles adorned with glittery cheers tags hanging around the neck of each.
Lori and Tom enjoyed a three-tier white buttercream wedding cake from the Cakery Bakery. They topped the cake with fresh ivory and blush roses and seeded eucalyptus for a fresh, romantic look.
Lori wore a strapless Vera Wang wedding dress with a tiered skirt and ruching on the bodice. She loved how simple and chic it was, but did add a glamorous crystal belt. She wore her hair down in soft curls, which she clipped back with a stiller crystal broach.
