A Romantic Glam Wedding at Carondelet House in Los Angeles, California

Striving for an “extremely romantic vibe,” Kate Lewis (34 and a president of sales) and Martin Ferrill (34 and a national account executive) added mauve, gray and berry tones to their industiral downtown venue. “We fell in love with the mix of rustic and glamour—chandeliers, exposed brick and wood beams,” Kate says. “These details were so beautiful.” The bouquets included soft ivory and mauve blooms offset by dark merlot blossoms. Instead of boutonnieres, the groom and his groomsmen sported custom pocket squares embroidered with their monograms. An enormous wall of hydrangeas created a dramatic backdrop for Kate and Martin’s ceremony. Guests looked on from Louis Ghost chairs. “We told our pros we wanted our guests’ jaws to drop when they were escorted into the space,” Kate says. The ceremony was converted into the reception area, with the flower wall kept as a focal point. Adding to the reception’s sultry vibe was the inventive drink menu, a light wall installation that projected Kate and Martin’s signature drink, a jalapeño margarita, along with other beverage options. Linen-free tables set with square marble chargers and dozens of white candles created a warm glow. “We loved the mix of modern and rustic displayed throughout the night,” Kate says.
