Rachel Harry (22 and a photographer) and James Hennessy (24 and a civil engineer) achieved a glitzy-meets-rustic wedding by hosting a glamorous New Year's Eve celebration at The Fair Barn in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The couple designed their sparkling decor around their New Year's Eve inspiration with a shabby-chic feel. Glitter accents popped against a black, white gold color palette and simple white flower arrangements filled sparkling vases. "To pull the flowers in, we had some greenery in the arrangements brushed with gold paint," says Rachel. Dramatic white linen hung from the high barn ceiling and the tablescapes were decorated champagne tablecloths with gold sequin overlays and white hydrangea and rose arrangements similar to the bride's bouquet. Before midnight the couple handed out noise makers, hats and glasses of champagne and had everyone gather on the dance floor to celebrate the new year. "The moment that best reflected us as a couple was our ceremony," says Rachel. "After taking communion as a couple, we had our bridal party gather around us to pray for us, for our marriage and our new ministry together."

After dinner and the traditional first dances, guests enjoyed dancing to live music before the countdown to midnight. "Around 11:30, we passed out noise makers and 2015 tiaras and at 11:55, everyone gathered on the dance floor with a glass of champagne and waited for the countdown," says Rachel. "At midnight, we all cheered and celebrated the amazing year that had just ended and the new year as the Hennessy family of two!"
