A Glamorous Rustic Wedding at Adams Rib Ranch in Eagle, Colorado

Jessica Jorgensen (29 and in hospitality and real estate) and Kevin Denton (32 and a sales executive) met while Jessica as a waitress at Balata Restau

Jessica Jorgensen (29 and in hospitality and real estate) and Kevin Denton (32 and a sales executive) met while Jessica as a waitress at Balata Restaurant in Edwards, Colorado the summer before her senior year of college. At the time, Kevin was living back home for a brief reprieve from trying to get into the Pro Golf Tour, so he spent a lot of time with his family at the local golf club, where Balata is located. He was instantly smitten with Jessica, so he kept coming back for lunch and trying to ask her out. When none of his attempts seemed to work, he got the bartender to set them up with a private golf lesson, where Jessica finally reciprocated his affections. Kevin proposed seven years later at dinner at the Balata, where he gave her the perfect ring--a fancy yellow diamond custom made from a jeweler and friend in Jessica's hometown. They held a fall wedding at Adams Rib Ranch in Eagle, Colorado on a golf course overlooking the Sawatch Mountain Range of the Rocky Mountains. Jessica was inspired by a glamorous, rustic aesthetic with natural wood elements and plenty of succulents with bright bursts of orange (Kevin's favorite color). The wedding party, comprised only of close family members, dressed neutrally in champagne and beige to let the landscape be the central focus. The flower arrangements were varied, including a white peony bridal bouquet, dahlias and hydrangeas in the bridesmaid bouquets, and scabies pods and wheat sprigs in the boutonnieres, along with various succulent and white floral centerpieces. Some of the unique elements of the wedding included Disney love songs at the ceremony, golf putters at the cocktail hour, and lottery ticket wedding favors that read "For richer or poorer." Jessica could not have asked for a more perfect wedding, saying, "If I could take a year's worth of happiness and put it into a jar, it wouldn't even compare to how happy I felt on that one day."

Strapless, Drop Waist, Ruffled Wedding Dress with Sash
Sparkly Gold Kate Spade Shoes
White Peony Bridal Bouquet
Jessica wore her hair in a curled, half-up style accented with white flowers. She accessorized with a pair of diamond-shaped earrings from a local jewelry store and carried her grandmother's handkerchief as her "something old."
Jessica wore a strapless Saison Blanche wedding dress with a drop waist and a ruffled tulle skirt. She completed the look with a romantic, cathedral-length veil.
Short, Mismatched, Champagne-Colored Bridesmaid Dresses
The bridesmaids carried gorgeous blush and champagne bouquets of cafe au lait dahlias, hydrangeas, yellow stock, scabiosa pods, spray roses, and peach ranunculus. For a sentimental touch, the flower girls carried baskets of dried rose petals from all the flowers Kevin gave Jessica throughout their relationship.
Kevin wore a custom made, gray three-piece suit from Elevee with a pink tie to match his groomsmen. The groomsmen wore matching tan suit pants and vests from Jos. A. Pank for a more relaxed look.
The groomsmen all wore natural green succulent boutonnieres with scabiosa pods and sprigs of wheat for texture. They brilliantly contrasted the men's bright pink ties.
Jessica and Kevin got married under a rustic wood wedding arch decorated with a natural green garland. The arch was flanked by two tall branch tables that held decorative candles.
First Kiss at Adams Rib Ranch
Jessica was inspired by Pinterest to create the wood slab wedding signs, which she hand-painted and covered with glitter. These were used throughout the wedding, including down the aisle with hand-calligraphed bible verses.
Tall White Floral Centerpieces with Branches
The reception had a variety of centerpieces, including rustic wood slabs with natural arrangements of green succulents on gold, glittery, chevron table numbers. The couple also incorporated chevron by packaging the lottery ticket wedding favors in chevron paper bags with a "For richer or poorer" sticker.
Dinner incorporated several street-food-inspired stations, including tacos, sliders, pad thai, snow crab cocktail, and chicken satay, followed by a dessert of fresh pies, gelato, mochi, and a naked wedding cake. Guests were also invited to a brunch the next day that included baked egg frittatas and breakfast burritos. Yum!
Music was a big part of the wedding, as the couple walked down the aisle to Disney love songs and had their first dance to Sara Bareilles' "I Choose You." Although Kevin and his mom had spent hours practicing their dance to a specific song, he decided to change the plan at the last minute and play her favorite song, "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston.
