A Glamorous Southern Wedding at Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville, Texas

During a romantic candlelit ceremony at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Rea Hasie (25 and a real estate agent) and Bill Netherton (26 and a fuel transportation manager) became husband and wife, and then they celebrated with a lavish feast and dancing at the elegant Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville, Texas. “We made the main focus of our wedding the Riverhill Country Club mansion, built in the early 1900s,” Rea says. “We knew not everyone could fit inside, so we had a tent over the lawn with chandeliers and lighting hung throughout.” A clear-top tent provided a romantic view of the stars during dinner and dancing, and the newlyweds decked out their alfresco affair with elegant lounge furniture, gold accents, crystal chandeliers, chinoiserie vases and ivory La Tavola linens. After the church ceremony, guests were welcomed to the country club with a happy hour that included a raw bar and passed hors d’oeuvres, along with a fried quail and beef tenderloin station. Friends and family sipped on the groom’s Ranch Waters drink, made with tequila, soda and lime, along with refreshing beverages from the signature rose wine and scotch bars. After dinner, the band Blind Date kept the dance floor packed. “Guests still talk about them,” Rea says of the rollicking band. The newlyweds' jubilant celebration concluded with a confetti exit. “Our entire wedding weekend was a dream,” Rea says. “It was so emotional, intimate and special.” —Marissa Hermanson
