A Glamorous Summer Wedding at Museum of the City of New York, in New York City

There was no shortage of chic at Christina Zhang (27 and a health care investment analyst) and Eric Yeung's  (31 and a director of business development) quintessential New York City bash, which took place in a landmark building on Fifth Avenue’s iconic Museum Mile. “The museum captured the essence of New York’s glamour and married the old and the new in a really beautiful way,” Christina says of channeling her inner Carrie Bradshaw for their “I dos.” The venue’s proximity to Central Park was also a plus, since Eric proposed at Belvedere Castle the year before. “Having our first look in Central Park really brought things full circle,” Christina says. To honor their Chinese roots, the pair celebrated in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony the day before their nuptials, and invitations were sealed with a wax seal depicting the double-happiness symbol. “We put a lot of love into those invitations,” Christina says of taking the time to calligraph each address. The morning of the nuptials, Christina and her bridesmaids hand-wrote 150 escort cards during down time between hair and makeup appointments. The couple's decadent, four-tier dessert featured layers of apple pie, chocolate malt and German-chocolate-flavored cake.
