A Glamorous Winter Wedding at Sanctuary in McKinney, Texas
Courtney Key (24 and an intake manager) and Aaron Pribanic (28 and a trainer) wanted to get married somewhere that would make jaws drop. They found just that in Bella Donna Chapel, a gorgeous, waterside chapel in McKinney, Texas. The space is modeled after historic buildings in Croatia, featuring high-arched ceilings, ornate chandeliers and 150-year-old wooden pews imported from Europe. "A huge bonus was that it didn't need any decorating," Courtney says. "It was breathtaking as is." For their reception, Courtney and Aaron chose a winter theme to match their February wedding date. Their frosty cool wedding decor was decked out in ice blue, silver and ivory. The Sanctuary, where Courtney and Aaron hosted their reception, was illuminated with blue uplighting. Reception tables were covered in sparkly silver linens and decorated with tall silver branches and dome-shape ivory flower arrangements. To match the decor, the wedding party dressed in gray, with the bridesmaids in floor-length gray dresses and the groomsmen in black suits with gray vests. Courtney wore a stunning ball gown with lace details throughout. The dress featured an illusion neckline and sheer three-quarter sleeves that perfectly suited the winter season. After dancing and feasting on two wedding cakes, Courtney and Aaron exited to canons exploding silver streamers over them. Fairy Tale Photography captured all the pretty details from the day.
