Champagne, gold, silver and neutral colors combined with arrangements of evergreen and poinsettia to create the perfect ambience for a classic winter wedding. During their engagement, Lisa Lloyd (31 and a nurse anesthetist) and Mark Minor (35 and a cardiovascular diagnostic sales manager) attended a service at Liberty Barn Church in Delaware, Ohio, and that was all it took for the couple to know where they wanted to get married. “We attended the Christmas Eve service at Liberty Barn Church when the barn was decked out in poinsettias, evergreens and candles,” Lisa says. “It was a perfect setting to say our vows.” On the day of the wedding, the couple took a horse-drawn sleigh ride around the surrounding area after the ceremony before heading downtown for their ballroom reception at The Westin Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. Dining tables were dressed in white tablecloths and had gold runners draped down the middle, matching the gold accents and curtains that decorated the walls and ceilings of the venue. Even the look of the wedding party seemed to blend in with the elegant winter theme/ “We accented our winter look with scarves, hats and gloves for the guys, and fingerless gloves and shawls for the girls,” Lisa says. “I wore a fur stole and fur-trimmed arm warmers.”

Lisa held an ivory, purple and pink bouquet filled with calla lilies, roses and silver brunia, which was arranged by Flowers on Orchard Lane. The flowers complemented the winter-themed color palette, made up of champagne, gold, silver and neutral colors.
Lisa wore a strapless ivory wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and a bodice accented in lace. The ball gown wedding dress had a full tulle skirt that flowed out. She wore an ivory tulle veil lined with lace that matched the rest of her elegant look.
Mark wore a white collared shirt underneath a classic black tuxedo on the day of the wedding, along with a champagne-colored vest and tie. He had an ivory rose boutonniere pinned to his black jacket, which matched the pocket square that was neatly tucked into his pocket.
