As a restored Spanish-style farmhouse, this historic home museum is filled with natural charm, ornate wooden furniture and century-old brick walls that makes guests feel like they have stepped back in time. That’s why we were not surprised when Marie Miceli (30 and in insurance) and Joshua Delacruz, (30 and an aviation mechanic) chose Casa Feliz as both their venue and wedding inspiration. “When I went there, it just felt right. I was in love with the location and style,” she says. The venue’s green, gold, red and orange hues soon became their color palette. On Marie and Josh's wedding day, rows of cherrywood chairs were the only decor as each bridesmaid walked up the brick aisle in a green floor-length dress by Alfred Angelo. Orange calla lily bouquets from Windermere Flowers and Gifts complemented their looks. Marie's entrance was both classic and eye-catching. She wore a sweet white Eden ball gown and elegant lace bolero. Josh waited by the altar space in a black tuxedo, ivory tie and matching vest. After they exchanged vows, all were treated to an outdoor cocktail hour and indoor reception designed by their coordinator, All About the Details. Copper lanterns were surrounded by halos of greenery, red garden roses and white roses, on each table as an overflowing arrangement of the same blooms covered the sweetheart table. Andi Mans Photography beautifully documented every moment as all enjoyed red velvet cupcakes from Anna Cakes and danced to music from A-List DJ Entertainment before ending their night with a song. For future newlyweds, Marie encourages getting a day-of coordinator. “It can be a very crazy day and having someone else worry about the details is well worth it.”

Designed by Windermere Flowers and Gifts, Marie's red and burgundy bouquet complemented her gorgeous ball gown and their venue’s natural beauty. Red garden roses and burgundy calla lilies filled the arrangement as white lace gathered its stems.
Windermere Flowers and Gifts designed arrangements of orange calla lilies and bold green leaves for the bridesmaids. Each bloom brought our Marie and Josh's wedding color as well as added a touch of spring to their February wedding.
Each woman highlighted the flecks of color in Casa Feliz's aged brick walls with a long Alfred Angelo dress in clover or forest green. "It was important to me that all the girls were able to dance the night away," says Marie. "The chiffon material was loose fitting but still able to lay on the girls to highlight their shapes as well as make them look and feel beautiful.”
“The best thing I did was wear flat ballerina wedding shoes," says Marie. "I was so comfortable and danced the night away pain free!” She wore a pair of simple white "Renee" shoes by Benjamin Adams London with a silver, cutout detailing along the front.
After a trip to Men's Wearhouse, Josh and his groomsmen were ready for the outdoor wedding with a formal look. Each man wore a dapper black tuxedo, white shirt, striped black tie and a champagne vest for an unexpected hint of color. In lieu of a boutonniere, they simply accessorized with white pocket squares.
Marie, her mother and aunt helped the plan the entire event in just seven months! To take things a step further, her mother added added a sentimental touch to Marie and Josh's wedding by making each escort card, menu, invitation and program.
Windermere Flowers and Gifts incorporated Casa Feliz's lush greenery into the wedding with each natural centerpiece. Rustic, copper lanterns were accented with a halo of red garden roses, white roses and greenery as candlelight added a soft glow from within.
Windermere Flowers and Gifts brought out the couple's bright wedding colors with a tablescape of eucalyptus, orange roses, red garden roses and greenery that cascaded over the sweetheart table's its champagne linen. The lush display on added a natural touch to their decor.
Custom made by Anna Cakes, Marie and Josh's dessert display added an extra hint of red to their reception. Rose petals surrounded the confections as tiers of red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing were met with a single-tier wedding cake covered in bold garden roses.
