A Green, Orange and Red Wedding at Casa Feliz in Winter Park, Florida

As a restored Spanish-style farmhouse, this historic home museum is filled with natural charm, ornate wooden furniture and century-old brick walls that makes guests feel like they have stepped back in time. That’s why we were not surprised when Marie Miceli (30 and in insurance) and Joshua Delacruz, (30 and an aviation mechanic) chose Casa Feliz as both their venue and wedding inspiration. “When I went there, it just felt right. I was in love with the location and style,” she says. The venue’s green, gold, red and orange hues soon became their color palette. On Marie and Josh's wedding day, rows of cherrywood chairs were the only decor as each bridesmaid walked up the brick aisle in a green floor-length dress by Alfred Angelo. Orange calla lily bouquets from Windermere Flowers and Gifts complemented their looks. Marie's entrance was both classic and eye-catching. She wore a sweet white Eden ball gown and elegant lace bolero. Josh waited by the altar space in a black tuxedo, ivory tie and matching vest. After they exchanged vows, all were treated to an outdoor cocktail hour and indoor reception designed by their coordinator, All About the Details. Copper lanterns were surrounded by halos of greenery, red garden roses and white roses, on each table as an overflowing arrangement of the same blooms covered the sweetheart table. Andi Mans Photography beautifully documented every moment as all enjoyed red velvet cupcakes from Anna Cakes and danced to music from A-List DJ Entertainment before ending their night with a song. For future newlyweds, Marie encourages getting a day-of coordinator. “It can be a very crazy day and having someone else worry about the details is well worth it.”
