A Kate Spade–Inspired Wedding at the Wellshire Inn in Denver, Colorado

Jennifer Allen (31 and a frozen yogurt shop owner) and Shane Alexander (28 and a wine distributor) first hit it off at dinner with mutual friends, where he noticed her Kate Spade piano keys clutch and asked if he could "tickle her ivories." Based on that quirky first impression, the couple took their inspiration from the designer and brought hot pinks, polka dots and stripes into their playful wedding day look. To keep guests entertained, the pair had a magician perform tricks during cocktail hour and also provided after-dinner cigars for everyone.

The ceremony itself was traditional: Jennifer and Shane said their vows at the First Presbyterian Church of Littleton. The bride has deep roots in the classic, warm building: Her grandfather had gone to that church when he was a child. The reception kicked off at Denver's historic Wellshire Inn, continuing the couple's theme of old-world charm with a spunky kick.
