A Laid-Back, Nautical Wedding on a Disney Cruise in The Bahamas

Brittany and Josh met on a two-week transatlantic Disney cruise and quickly committed to a long-distance relationship (she's from Toronto, and he's from St. Louis).  When they got engaged two years later, during Christmas at Disney's Aulani resort in Hawaii, they knew the best way to celebrate and say "I do" was also with Disney—specifically on a three-day cruise with 50 friends and relatives. The laid-back ceremony took place on a beautiful beach of Disney Cruise Line's private island in the Bahamas: Castaway Cay. Guests discarded their shoes before sitting in the beachfront chairs. Brittany wore an A-line dress with a floral lace pattern and halter neckline, which she paired with a bouquet of fuchsia orchids and red roses. Josh went with a custom gray three-piece suit with no jacket and a navy-blue tie. The reception continued the relaxed atmosphere and nautical vibe.
Our favorite #MakeTradition moment: "We wrote our own vows to each other, and it was just a beautiful moment saying those to each other in front of our family and friends in such a beautiful place," the couple says.
