A Luxe, Traditional Wedding at Terminal Station in Macon, Georgia

During a line dancing class at Georgia State University, Abbi Proctor (25 and an associate financial representative) first learned that Cameron Windham (24 and a financial advisor) has some serious moves. But it wasn't until their paths crossed again during their senior year that the pair started spending more time together and eventually began dating. Cameron surprised Abbi with an engagement ring at the Atlanta Botanical Garden after an evening of looking at Christmas lights and the couple spent the next eleven months planning their sophisticated wedding. After a traditional ceremony at Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, guests were invited to a formal reception at Terminal Station in Macon, Georgia. Although the newlyweds decided on an understated ivory and green color palette, their over-the-top hydrangea and rose flower arrangements made a dramatic impact within the ballroom reception. "I've seen a large estate table with tall center pieces done in Terminal Station many times so we wanted to do something different, something never seen here before," says Abbi. "We planned for tall columns supporting large arrangements in the center of the table to create a focal point in the center of the room." Hanging candles were the "jewels" of the oversized centerpieces and made the entire room sparkle after dark. A custom hydrangea wall served as a backdrop for the elegant cake table and flower trees made of magnolia leaves and dendrobium orchids decorated the perimeter of the room. "Our adorable ring bearer walked down the aisle carrying a pillow with our sweet dog’s face on it," says Abbi. "Since Beau couldn’t be in the wedding, we still found a way to incorporate him!"
