A Luxurious, Formal Wedding at The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina
It was Lindsay Cruse's (30 and a project-management professional) job that first brought her together with Kevin Johnson (34 and a sales professional)."Ten years ago, I was working as a manager of the deli and bakery at the local grocery store, which means wearing a hair net and rubber apron," Lindsay says. "Kevin was working in the business park across the street and got word of our lunch option: a delicious $2 sandwich. We exchanged pleasantries over his lunch orders day after day. Eventually, Kevin asked for a ham-and-cheese sandwich and my phone number. I gave this very important customer what he requested and we went on our first date a few days later." When it was time to select a wedding venue, there was no question that it would be in the South, since that's where they're both from. "Our vision was a classic wedding with Southern charm," Lindsay says. "When Palmetto Bluff was suggested -- a landscape of oak trees with Spanish moss, picturesque architecture and impeccable service -- the decision was easy."
