The Bride Jennifer (Jenn) Yao, 28, contract furniture account executive at One Workplace The Groom Caleb Lawson, 28, producer at IGN.com The Date October 1 To play up their historic bayside venue, Jenn and Caleb opted for an ocean theme, using a base palette of gray, greens and muted blues. Pops of red were incorporated to honor Jenn’s Chinese heritage (it also happens to be the club’s signature hue).

Jenn’s cousin’s daughter wore a halo crown of succulents.
White and red hydrangeas were displayed loosely
in eclectic containers.
A basket of towels was on deck for the late-night postceremony bay swim.
Guests partied to a local psychedelic bluegrass band (that also had played classical numbers at the ceremony).
The guys’ lapels got texture from succulents and fiddlehead ferns.
Since they both frequent the San Francisco Bay as members of the South End rowing Club, it only made sense for Jenn and Caleb to get married there.
Large cylinder vases filled with seashells decorated the waterside ceremony.
Each table was labeled with a different sea creature to tie into the ocean theme.
Succulents brought color to the girls’ gray looks.
