A Modern, Elegant Wedding at Hotel Monaco Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Danielle Gross-Eskin (30 and a social worker) and Neal Pfeiffenberger (31 and a scientist) wanted to avoid anything over the top or super gaudy for their wedding, instead choosing a simple, elegant, and modern theme. They kept the decor simple, letting the natural beauty of their location shine through, and chose a modern color palette of gray, white and gold to keep things elegant. White peonies, hydrangeas, and ranunculuses filled the small, short centerpiece vases and bouquets. The bridesmaids wore simple, elegant light gray dresses which complemented Danielle's Watters gown with an ivory illusion front. A unique touch? In lieu of a traditional guest book, Danielle and Neal gathered a large quantity of old postcards from various places they have lived or traveled to, and asked guests to write on each card with a memory or piece of advice!
