The Bride Jennifer Schubert, 34, a senior property tax analyst The Groom Eric Witter, 40, an attorney The Date September 4 Jennifer knew she wanted to get married in an urban loft, so when she and Eric found Epic, with its exposed-brick walls, steel staircase and open-air rooftop, they instantly loved the space. Kelly green was their wedding
color of choice, and they kept the décor simple for a fresh and modern look to
match the restaurant.

The only flower Jennifer asked for was succulents. The florist filled them in with dusty miller and roses for some extra texture.
Jennifer’s floor-length veil looked gorgeous catching the wind on the rooftop.
The bridesmaids, wearing ruffled kelly green dresses, stood out against the
black-and-white attire
of the groomsmen.
Eric was in charge of the cake, and he came up with a modern design with simple fondant bands on one tier.
To declutter the reception tables, Jennifer skipped framed table names and printed the numbers
onto the menu cards in a modern typewriter font.
Jennifer loved the reclaimed-wood tables
at Epic, so she and Eric
kept the tabletops minimal, with only a few votives
and single succulents in glass pedestals.
These d’Orsay heels
with sweet rosettes were Jennifer’s “something blue.”
Round stickers on kelly green business card envelopes, which Jennifer planted into sand-filled jewelry trays, led guests
to their seats.
As soon as Jennifer and Eric heard “Forever” at a Ben Harper concert together, they knew it would be
their first dance song.
White Floral Centerpieces
The couple exchanged vows on the restaurant’s rooftop, keeping the décor simple. “The skyline was all that was needed,” Jennifer says.
The couple rented a vintage photo booth that printed photo strips for guests to take home as favors.
