A Modern Romantic Wedding at Boston Harbor Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts
Boston, Massachusetts-based couple Sarah LeFebvre (26 and a graduate student) and Kyle Prohovich (27 and a dental student) wanted their wedding to highlight the city where they met and fell in love. The Wharf Room at the Boston Harbor Hotel offered extraordinary views of the city skyline and harbor, and this iconically Boston setting is where Sarah and Kyle had their heartfelt ceremony. Harrington Flowers created an over-the-top display of tall branches and lush floral arrangements; the ballroom looked like an indoor garden. After the couple's “I dos,” a Frank Sinatra soundalike entertained guests in the Rotunda, a round room covered in windows that overlook the Boston Harbor and city. Event planner Veronica Alexandra of Blue Ivy completely transformed the ballroom for the reception with blush, white, gray and metallic hues to create a modern romantic ambience. The large rose applique on Sarah’s ball gown dress inspired the rosettes throughout the decor, from the table linens to the cake. Sarah and Kyle shared their first dance before a dinner of New England staples (think clam chowder) before their second surprise of the night: They had not one but two first dances, so Sarah had two wedding dresses! By the end of their second dance, all 200 of their guests flooded the dance floor, which stayed lively late into the night, thanks to the band Kahootz.
