The Bride Dana Gati, 29, works in sales and public relations The Groom Aaron Colby, 30, an attorney The Date March 19 Dana and Aaron envisioned a modern, sleek, elegant cocktail party, which they brought to life with clean lines, funky vases, food stations and a color palette of gray, white and orange.

As a play on their initials (DC and AC), Dana created a logo to use throughout the décor, including on the pillows in the lounge area.
Anemones were the perfect complement to Dana’s dress and one of her favorite things about the wedding.
Dana accessorized with white pumps that had a black-lace overlay.
Dana and Aaron chose an invitation suite with mix and match patterns and a gray, white and orange color palette, printed on recycled bamboo paper.
Though she started out wanting a Grecian dress, Dana ultimately fell in love with a mermaid-style one that felt both elegant and modern.
Dana and Aaron exchanged vows on the rooftop of The London beneath a birch huppah and the tallith that belonged to Aaron’s late father and grandfather.
In lieu of favors, Dana and Aaron made charitable donations in guests’ names and set out cards at each place setting to explain.

The cards were attached to striped straws and lined up with rows of succulents in black wooden boxes filled with white sand.
The banquet-style tables at the reception were topped with patterned runners and an eclectic collection of white and silver vases filled with monochromatic flowers.
Both cookie lovers, Dana and Aaron had a cookie tower—and a cool one at that. It was set up on light boxes and topped with a white square cake.
Mini waffle cones filled with guacamole were the most talked-about appetizer at the reception.
