Ashley and Gabby's wedding in Red Bank, New Jersey paired classic elegance with a simple black and white color palette for an event that felt modern, yet timeless. The couple incorporated personal touches like signature cocktails that they drank when they met in the Dominican Republic, stationery designed by Ashley and meaningful quotes and music that let their personalities shine through.

Ashley and Gabby had their first dance to No Greater Love in the style of Amy Winehouse.
The menus were tucked into black linens and placed on white china. Place cards with elegant script typeface were placed on top of each napkin.
The couple added a special touch to their modern black and white fondant cake; the top layer was decorated with handed painted love phrases like Same Love.
To contrast with her black gown, Ashley carried a bouquet of bright white calla lilies, stock and roses. The bouquet was tied with a black and white bouquet wrap accented by clusters of pearl pins.
The newlyweds wanted to indulge their guests with an over-the-top cocktail hour. They had both passed hors d'oeuvres and stations, including a raw bar, carving station, pasta station and platters of meats and cheeses.
The reception was held in the elegant ballroom at the Molly Pritcher Inn. The couple kept the decor simple, yet sophisticated, choosing arrangements of white hydrangeas and stock placed in low black square vases (allowing guests to easy see and talk to one another)as well as black and white table linens to tie into their theme.
Gabby walked down the aisle in a pair of white t-strap sandals with rhinestone accents for a hint of shimmer.
The escort cards had a simple, contemporary look with mixed modern and script fonts in a black and white color palette.
To go with their modern black and white theme, the couple decided to wear black and white gowns. Ashley went with a black Vera Wang mermaid gown and a black and white statement necklace that complemented Gabby's dress as well as the day's theme. Gabby wore a trumpet gown by Galina Signature with lace appliques and organza ruffle skirt.
Ashley and Gabby took advantage of the beautiful waterfront location, pausing for photos on a nearby dock.
The ring bearer, dressed in a smart black tuxedo, walked Ashley and Gabby's dog Spicy down the aisle.
For their wedding, Ashley and Gabby exchanged the diamond bands they had given to each other when they became domestic partners in 2006. They added an extra special touch to the rings, engraving their wedding date on the inside of each ring to symbolize new beginnings and the continuation of their journey as a couple.
Ashley and Gabby made their wedding invitations themselves - Ashley designed, printed and trimmed each invitation and Gabby then assembled each packet. The invitations had a modern look with a sleek black and white color scheme, as well as mixed contemporary and script typefaces.
Guests dropped cards into a vintage-inspired birdcage for the newlyweds.
