A Mumford & Sons-Inspired Folk Wedding at Dry Gulch Placer in Breckenridge, Colorado

We cannot get over the modern, musical twist on this rustic wedding. Treana Bennett (29 and a lawyer) and Lawren Bennett (36 and a business manager) are obsessed with Mumford & Sons and wanted their day to reflect the band’s vibe with a “kick off your shoes and have a laugh and a dance” aura. The couple chose Dry Gulch Placer in Breckenridge, Colorado, to set the scene. “When I got up to this gem at 10,000 feet, I just knew it was where I wanted to get married,” Treana says. “I also loved that everything was included—the ceremony location, chairs, cabins, bar area, tent, tables. Those little costs can really add up.” And don't even get us started on those views. The stunning robin’s egg blue and pink champagne palette added plenty of soft romance and the DIY details added a personal touch. Treana and Lawrence even made a mixed CD for the wedding favors that said, "Many songs have marked the special moments of our relationship. With gratitude for your role in our lives, we hope you enjoy the soundtrack of ours. In love, with love." One of our favorite parts? Treana’s gorgeous Essense Of Australia mermaid-style wedding dress. “If given the choice to choose a dress all over again, I would pick the same one,” she says. “I love, love, love my dress.” There are so many details we love!
