A Natural, Elegant Wedding at Clifton Inn in Charlottesville, Virginia
With no specific theme or color palette in mind, Amanda Powers (34 and digital director) and Caleb Hersch (27 and a business development manager) used the outdoors property at Clifton Inn in Charlottesville, Virginia, to create a natural-looking style for their elegant nuptials. Shades of white and greenery colored the wedding details, starting with foliage patterns accenting the white invitations that gave a glimpse of the occasion to come. Beehive Events used the surrounding landscape as inspiration for Amanda's romantic bouquet, made up of white blooms mixed with overgrown greenery. Inside the hotel's dining room, long tables with numbers done in calligraphy showed guests their seats for the evening. Everyone easily talked to one another over the low centerpieces that resembled Amanda's organic-looking bouquet, captured on camera by Jen Fariello Photography. Although each detail contributed to the elegant style of the wedding, we absolutely loved Amanda's one-of-a-kind wedding dress that belonged to her grandmother. "In the end, I chose my grandmother's dress for many reasons," Amanda says. "I loved my grandmother tremendously, and sadly she is no longer with us. Plus, it had classic, elegant style with a unique and a slightly architectural-styled neckline." See more details from this elegant occasion filled with natural beauty, below.
