A Natural Wedding at Eventful at Locust Grove in Weston, Missouri

The first time Lynette Williams (35 and an organ procurement technician) hugged Penny Vinson (34 and an investment advisory specialist), Lynette says she was a goner. To prolong their first date, they went to locate a hidden geocache, and made dating official shortly after. Just before Penny’s company holiday party, with a dozen red roses and sparkling grape juice, Lynette pulled Penny aside and asked if she would marry her. The couple had a ceremony with their close friends and family in Weston, Missouri at Eventful at Locust Grove. “We chose this event space because we wanted an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and Lynette liked the idea of getting married in Weston because of how peaceful and away from the city it is,” says Penny. The wedding was beach-inspired with a color palette of coral and Malibu blue.
