Stephanie Dexter (32 and a home decor buyer) and Michael DeLuca (37 and a college professor) used the grounds at Lakeside Clubhouse Wedding & Reception Facility in Medford, New Jersey, as the backdrop for a chic, natural wedding covered in handcrafted details. Every piece of decor, from their DIY ceremony accents to the leaf escort cards and wedding cake, evoked their theme. The couple marked their ceremony with a greenery-covered wedding arch, which Michael designed and decorated. Bunches of white hydrangeas and baby's breath popped alongside the metal accent. After a custom ceremony among the trees, their 90 guests moved inside for an organic reception. Their handwritten names stood out in gold on actual green leaves! But this was nothing compared with their cake. Stephanie and Michael's buttercream-frosted confection had white chocolate shavings on every tier, giving it a chic, snow-covered look. Fern leaves along the side enhanced their design. Delaney Dobson Photography captured every moment, below. (Their daughter's flower crown and her braided updo hairstyle have us ready to hit Pinterest!)

Talk about bohemian chic! Stephanie brought the couple's relaxed, natural style into her hairstyle. She wore a braided updo with wisps of baby’s breath and greenery set inside each twist. (We especially love how she matched the natural display with a green brooch along her waist.)
Stephanie and Michael's ceremony decor blended in with their surroundings. The couple highlighted each trunk and changing foliage with lines of dark folding chairs and potted yellow chrysanthemums. Michael even made their greenery-wrapped wedding arch for an even more personalized touch.
Stephanie and Michael’s daughter looked ready for a garden party during her processional. Her chic ivory chiffon dress had a lace trim along its pleated skirt and classic high neckline worthy of the Victorian era. She paired it with a colorful wildflower crown that matched Stephanie’s bouquet.
Resembling the rest of their ceremony decor, Stephanie’s pastel bridal bouquet looked like it was just picked from their natural setting. Yellow craspedia, pink delphiniums, lavender and wildflowers all filled its wrap. For an added organic feel, dried wheat popped out throughout the display.
For Stephanie, some of the sweetest moments in their ceremony included when her parents walked her down the aisle and she saw Michael waiting at the end. Her father matched Michael with a navy blue suit and soft patterned tie. A similar wildflower boutonniere also marked his lapel.
Stephanie and Michael added multiple DIY elements to their natural fete at Lakeside Clubhouse Wedding & Reception Facility in Medford, New Jersey. Their wedding arch was one of them. Michael decorated every metal detail with a garland of ivy and greenery, baby’s breath and white hydrangeas. Each detail highlighted the flowers in Stephanie’s updo as they shared their first kiss.
Michael highlighted their natural setting with an organic detail of his own. He matched Stephanie’s bouquet with a pastel arrangement of dried wheat and wildflowers. Each bloom brought out the subtle blue in his pinstripe suit and lavender plaid tie.
After dating for 12 years, Stephanie, Michael and their daughter, Izzie, celebrated the couple’s marriage with a few moments alone. Delaney Dobson Photography captured the trio as they shared a high-five and a few laughs alongside the Lakeside Clubhouse Wedding & Reception Facility in Medford, New Jersey.
Talk about natural! The couple channeled their tree-filled setting with these place cards. All 90 guests found their names written in gold on actual leaves. The accents played into their theme and alluded to the couple’s succulent and tulip centerpieces inside Lakeside Clubhouse Wedding & Reception Facility in Medford, New Jersey.
Each centerpiece brought their natural setting inside the Lakeside Clubhouse ballroom. They highlighted every neutral linen with potted succulents, bright yellow tulips and baby’s breath inside mixed bulb vases. A wooden base and low tealight candles added to the organic feel. Guests found their seats with the help of a chalkboard number protruding from the succulent.
Their wedding cake showed off the day’s natural flair with multiple flavors. Buttercream frosting covered all three round tiers of red velvet cake. White chocolate shavings topped each one, resembling snow below natural fern leaves. To make the confection more personalized, Michael hand-painted each wooden figure for their topper.
After their outdoor nuptials and ring-warming ceremony, Stephanie and Michael slipped away for a few moments with Delaney Dobson Photography. While they had a natural-themed wedding, this moment let them take it all in. The tree-lined bridge at Lakeside Clubhouse Wedding & Reception Facility in Medford, New Jersey, served as a sweet and fitting backdrop while the couple shared a kiss.
