A Natural Wedding With a Vintage Twist at Givens Farm in Hortonville, Wisconsin

While planning their wedding in Hortonville, Wisconsin, Megan Anderson and Carson Blodgett immediately settled on the open field

While planning their wedding in Hortonville, Wisconsin, Megan Anderson and Carson Blodgett immediately settled on the open fields and lush landscape at Givens Farm. Vintage decor and a neutral palette of ivory, blue and brown gave this outdoor fete a natural, free-spirited aesthetic. Guests took their seats on the bridge for the ceremony, with no added decorations other than small bundles of baby’s breath lining the aisle. The wedding party attire blended well with the venue’s natural environment—bridesmaids wore knee-length dresses in a variety of blues and styles, which the groomsmen matched with blue patterned ties worn over their ivory shirts. The reception dining tables had glass jars filled with ivory blooms and leaves as centerpieces, positioned on top of stacked vintage books captured on camera by Shaunae Teske Photography. Our favorite detail had to be the three-tier white wedding cake accented with fresh flowers and positioned on top of a wooden slab, which embodied the day's styles and colors. See more natural details that inspired us, below.
