The Bride Michelle Ilczyszyn, 35, an in-house attorney at Behringer Harvard The Groom Steven (Steve) Nielsen, 38, a chemistry professor at the University of Texas at Dallas The Date March 11 Michelle and Steve had their first date at the Dallas Arboretum, so it was only fitting to host their wedding there. In keeping with the outdoor setting, the couple came up with a nature-inspired theme and incorporated a bird motif on the stationery, and succulents in the floral arrangements. Bright fuchsia as an accent color brought it all to life.

A pink-paisley bird gave the invites a charming touch. The couple skipped the extra envelopes and opted for response postcards to reduce their paper use.
The couple exchanged vows outdoors surrounded by a reflecting pool and hedges.
