Heather (23, Social Worker) had dreamed of a wedding at her grandparent's cabin on a private island since she was a young girl. So when Adrian (23, Military Forces) proposed to Heather on their vacation in Qatar, Heather knew there was only one place to hold their wedding. The day of the wedding, Heather and Adrian and their 90 guests hopped aboard a boat to sail to the island and celebrate the couple's special day. After the couple exchanged their vows under a driftwood arch on the beach, everyone headed inside the cabin for the reception. Inspired by the unique location, the couple chose nautical decor like clam shells, fishing nets, dried starfish and lobster trap decor to complement the beach setting. At the end of the night, everyone sat around a campfire on the beach and roasted marshmallows for s'mores.

Small vanilla frosted cupcakes were displayed on a tree slice tower.
Heather's Mori Lee wedding dress had a sparkly lace overlay and a sweetheart neckline.
Nautical elements like this clam shell with inspirational words decorated the beach ceremony and reception.
A large fishing net with dried starfish and other nautical accessories decorated the walls at the reception site.
A direction sign made of driftwood directed guests towards the ceremony and reception site.
