A Nautical Wedding at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, New Jersey

Enamored of the marina and waterfront space at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, New Jersey, Pam Lipnicky (28 and a regional consultant) and Sean Halayko (28 and an account manager) used the venue as inspiration for their nautical wedding. Every detail, from the natural ceremony decor to the groomsmen suits and centerpieces, put a chic twist on the sea-worthy theme. Guests took in a clear view of the Navesink River marina as they walked into Pam and Sean’s natural ceremony. Thick garlands of eucalyptus along the back rows of guest chairs and a matching birchwood wedding arch created a light and airy atmosphere. This way, the location itself served as the focal point. Sean and his groomsmen further captured the nautical theme as they started the processional in blue and white. Dressed in blue Calvin Klein suits, matching ties and white shirts, they highlighted the river’s cool blue water as well as the matching blue and white ribbons on every arrangement. After the couple said “I do,” their reception took things to a new level. Blue-and-white-striped runners lined every table below rope-wrapped arrangements of yellow and white flowers. A clear-glass vase filled with candlelight and surrounded by rope also resembled lanterns on a few tables. Mikkel Paige Photography caught every yellow, white and blue detail, and the images make us want to charter a nautical adventure.
