A Navy and Gold Wedding at the Hall at Senate’s End in Columbia, South Carolina
Having always loved all things sparkly, Sarah Venturella (28 and a bank branch manager) and Joshua Sloan (29 and works in member services) combined navy blue with gold glitter accents for a glamorous fete we can't help but love. "There wasn’t really a theme for my wedding," Sarah says. "It was just any excuse I had to put glitter on something I did." She and Joshua enlisted the help of wedding planner Meagan Warren for day-of consulting and to help make last-minute decisions, but the couple, with the help of their friends and family, did the rest themselves. Our favorite DIY detail? Sarah's stunning A-line wedding dress, which was made by Sarah's mother. How impressive is that? "I knew I wanted lots and lots of tulle, no straps and lots of lace and sequins mixed in," Sarah says. "My mother spent about two months sewing the dress together from beginning to end, and I was able to customize any part of the dress I wanted." There's so much to love about this navy and gold fete, from the amazing florals from American Floral to the on-point cake from Silver Spoon Bake Shop.
