A Neutral, Art Deco-Inspired Wedding at the Crystal Ballroom on the Lake in Altamonte Springs, Florida

Remixing the glamorous 1920s with a champagne and white color scheme, Jaris Rolon (25 and a teacher) and Angel Guzman (26 and a travel trainer) put their own spin on the Crystal Ballroom on the Lake in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Draped pearls, crystal candelabras and bold DIY bouquets all put an art deco flair on the reception. Their sweetheart table featured yards of the couple’s signature pearls. Each bead draped across the front of its champagne linens, for a stylish touch. Similar strands decorated every centerpiece around the room. Instead of floral centerpieces, Jaris and Angel opted for bewitching crystal candelabras with the soft glow of tealights. More suspended crystal details highlighted each one. But what made the day extra-special were their wedding party bouquets. Designed by Jaris’s mother, every arrangement included fabric roses set apart by single pearls or brooch details. Landon Hendrick Photography documented the occasion. “I wanted my guests to step into my reception feeling like they stepped right into the 1920s,” Jaris says.
