A Pink and Black Disney Wedding at DoubleTree by Hilton in Milford, Massachusetts

Kristina Wirth (30, a teacher) and Derek Ferreira (29, also a teacher) met through mutual friends at Wickenden Pub in Providence, Rhode Island.  Kristina liked Derek right away, but they didn’t start dating until a year and a half later when they ran into each other again and she invited him along to the Rhode Island Air Show. "We sat in traffic for two hours—the first time we had been alone together—which could have been terrible, but we laughed the entire time," she recalls. "We've been inseparable ever since." For their hotel ballroom wedding, they used a black and white color scheme (which also happened to be the colors of their alma mater, Providence College) with pops of bright pink. Disney-inspired details were woven throughout the day's details, a nod to Kristina's Disney fandom and their honeymoon destination.
