A Pink Southern Charm Wedding at Wedgefield Plantation in Georgetown, South Carolina
Since they always dreamed of having a romantic Southern wedding, Tara Maglio (26 and a personal trainer) and Brian Jacobs (26 and a marketing manager) chose Wedgefield Plantation in Georgetown, South Carolina. “We chose this historic Southern plantation filled with live oak trees and Spanish moss for our outdoor ceremony,” Tara says. “We wanted our guests to experience how beautiful the South is. I always pictured my wedding to be outdoors and very Southern.” Using a pink, ivory and gold color palette, the couple added plenty of romance and charm throughout the decor. We love the subtle 1920s tribute too, with the towering white plume centerpieces, the crystals in Tara’s pink peony bouquet and even the 1920s-dressed jazz band. The couple worked with Colonial Florist to create the lush floral arrangements that really brought an ethereal garden aura to the day. Another standout detail? Tara’s stunning blush Allure ball gown. She loved the detailing on the bust and the tiered skirt, not to mention the soft blush hue. The bridesmaids perfectly matched her look with blush ombre Jim Hjelm dresses. As if that weren't enough, dessert featured an ornate white fondant wedding cake complete with amazing gold detailing and pink cascading sugar flowers from Incredible Edibles. There are so many details we love! See them all, beautifully captured by Pasha Belman Photography, below.
