A Prairie-Glam Wedding at a Private Residence in Manhattan, Kansas

Sierra Winter (27 and a jewelry designer) and Jeff Otto (27 and a business developer for crop insurance) chose a boho prairie meets glam theme, inspired by Sierra's love of sparkles and the beautiful surroundings of their reception at Sierra's parent's ranch. Sierra wore a beaded gown with earrings designed by a close friend. The bridesmaids wore their own floor length gowns in champagne, gold and silver. The groomsmen wore classic black suits. Sierra's bouquet was inspired by a family tradition: every Thanksgiving her dad goes to the pasture and picks the bouquet for the table centerpiece, so Sierra asked him to do the same for her bouquet. "It was perfect, and the fall prairie glass colors were amazing," she says. The couple exchanged vows on a flat patch of ground on Sierra's parent's ranch, with minimal decorations so that the focal point could be the natural beauty of their surroundings. Their reception space was held in a golf club that overlooked Flint Hills. Wine bottles, prairie grass and flowers and geodes were used for the unique centerpiece arrangements.
