Ann Minihane (32 and a special-education teacher) and Ryan Minihane (29 and in education) filled their beach wedding with just the right mix of romantic and garden-style accents. The couple started their day with a simple ceremony at Marco Beach Ocean Resort in Marco Island, Florida. Large silver lanterns filled with seashells and candlelight lined the aisle as the Ann and Ryan stood under a classic white wedding arch. Lush greenery and pink Juliet roses arranged by Botanicals on the Gulf decorated the front posts with a hint of color. A gorgeous ocean view served as their backdrop. After the couple shared their first kiss, the party moved to an outdoor reception. Tablescapes of greenery, hydrangeas and Juliet roses (Ann’s favorite flowers) were met with dozens of floating candles that gave off a soft glow. “We had the most amazing florist,” Ann says. Another standout detail was their classic white wedding cake. Kakes by Karen baked a three-tier confection with cascading pink roses along each tier and a silver ribbon at the base. After a slice, Ann and Ryan spent the rest of their night reconnecting with guests. “We really made an effort to hang out with our friends and family at the pool and on the beach,” Ann says. “We wanted them to know how much we appreciated them making the effort to fly to Florida and celebrate our special day.” Tonya Malay Photography captured each blush and neutral details of the day, below.

Ann and Ryan's beach theme was seen in a few simple accents. After guests found their message-in- a-bottle escort cards, they were encouraged to take a personalized wedding favor. Ivory matchbooks with embossed gold clamshell detailing were placed nearby in a woven, burlap-lined basket.
“We had the most amazing florist who let us go back and look at all his flowers,” Ann says. “I fell in love with a soft pink Juliette rose, which he used in the bouquets and centerpieces.” The team at Botanicals on the Gulf specifically designed a romantic arrangement of blush and white Juliet roses, white calla lilies, greenery and green mini hydrangeas for Ann’s bridal bouquet. Each stem was then gathered in a soft white ribbon.
Ann and Ryan's flower-girl dress was sweet and romantic. Her white A-line skirt was met with a soft pink ribbon as matching pink flower petals were sewn into the tulle train. Each accent also went with the blush flower petals that lined their ceremony aisle.
Ryan and his groomsmen added a preppy touch to the couple's ceremony. He dressed for their wedding in a dapper navy jacket, neutral khakis and a classic white calla lily boutonniere. To bring in their pink wedding color, Ryan and his groomsmen also wore pink and navy striped ties.
With a clear ocean view as their backdrop, Ann and Ryan chose only a few simple accents for their ceremony decor. Three large silver lanterns were filled with candlelight and seashells at the head of the aisle as each row of white folding chairs was met with blush flower petals. Botanicals on the Gulf also placed to arrangements of greenery, white orchids and blush Juliet roses on each side of the couple's white wedding arch.
Botanicals on the Gulf added a lush arrangement with a garden-like charm to the couple's ceremony decor. Ann’s favorite Juliet roses stood out against a display of greenery, white orchids, seeded eucalyptus and white hydrangeas on each post of the wedding arbor.
The team at Elegance By Carbonneau helped Ann pick a classic white wedding dress for their beach celebration. She chose an Enzoani gown with ruche detailing along the bodice and a trumpet-style skirt covered with delicate lace. A simple beaded belt tied the look together with a classic touch.
Ann and Ryan's outdoor reception was filled with rustic, vintage and garden accents. Woven neutral seating surrounded each family-style table as Botanicals on the Gulf designed an overflowing arrangement for its centerpiece. Curly willow tips, white hydrangeas, blush Juliet roses, pink gerber daisies and dusty miller were just a few of the blooms set on each navy runner. Floating tea-light candles in cylinder vases served as accents.
Kakes by Karen also had lush floral arrangements on their classic white wedding cake. Delicate piping and silver ribbon accented each tier as pink Juliet roses, mauve roses and coral spray roses cascaded down the front. Each bloom added a pop of color and a romantic touch to the confection.
