A Relaxed, Rustic Wedding at Mountain Top Inn & Resort in Chittenden, Vermont

rn Liz Schindler (27 and a medical student) and Sam Perzanowski (27 and a visual effects artist) are both laid-back people who love flannel, the woods, and their friends and family. "We just wanted everyone to feel at home with us and have a great time dancing the night away," Liz says. The couple's relaxed and rustic theme reflected the things they love, and they decorated their wedding with clear glass bud vases, gingham table runners, galvanized metal accents, and purple, white, and yellow blooms. Their barn reception had farmhouse tables, cafe lights and an exposed beam ceiling. The couple wrote their ceremony with the help of the Justice of the Peace, and exchanged vows on a knoll overlooking a reservoir and mountains. Liz wore a slim-fitting ivory sheath lace dress with a deep-V and an open diamond back. The groomsmen wore black tuxes with yellow lily boutonnieres with tiny Lego superheroes attached, and the bridesmaids wore handmade earrings and eggplant purple dresses. At the end of the night, everyone enjoyed delicious mini-cupcakes.
