The Bride Kelley Williams, 27, a resident physician in psychiatry at University of Illinois Hospital The Groom Mark Volpe, 27, a property tax analyst The Date September 25 Kelley and Mark incorporated both of their personalities into the reception design for a fun, lighthearted vibe. Their yellow, black and white color palette was a nod to Mark's alma mater, The University of Iowa, while whimsical touches, like mod patterns and chunky black candlesticks, were Kelley's picks. The intimate venue—set right on the river—tied everything together.

Inspired by a bouquet of white calla lilies surrounded by yellow roses that she saw on TheKnot.com, Kelley chose a bouquet of all-white calla lilies for herself and monochromatic bunches of yellow roses, tulips, ranunculus and calla lilies for her bridesmaids.
Two days before the wedding, Kelley found the perfect tiara to match her jewelry and dress. Mark's one request: that all the guys wear real bow ties instead of pre-tied ones.
